Knicks' Triangle Offense

Since day 1 in the Knicks, Phil Jackson made it
clear that the team was going to play the Triangle developed by Tex Winter in
the late 80’s. That’s the reason Derek Fisher was hired as a coach (he played
it at the beginning of this century with the Lakers). Now, after preseason, I
take a look at what rules are they using in this version of the Triangle and
how this is working for them. It’s a really interesting structure and some
parts would be very useful to youth teams since it requires good fundamental
skills, passing and understanding the game.
